Terms of sale and returns
About us
Venture Flight Systems is a trading name of Venture Online Ltd. (Company registration: 10711945). You can contact us at hello@ventureonline.co.
These terms apply to everything you buy from our online shop. Please read them before you order. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our products
Our panels, switches and legends are made for flight simulation and training at home. They are not certified for use in real aircraft and must not be used in one. Aircraft and manufacturer names are used only to describe compatibility and styling; we are not affiliated with them.
Many of our products are hand-finished, so small differences from the photos (for example in colour or backlighting) are normal. Photos and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them.
Ordering
When you place an order you’ll receive an order confirmation email, and at that point a contract is formed between us. If we can’t fulfil your order, for example because an item is out of stock or its price was shown in error, we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any VAT that applies.
- Delivery charges are shown in your cart and at checkout before you pay.
- Payments are taken securely by card through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Delivery
- We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
- We aim to dispatch within the time shown on the product page and at checkout, and we’ll email you a tracking link when your order is on its way.
- Your order is your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.
- If your order arrives damaged, or hasn’t arrived when you’d expect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put it right.
Changing your mind: your 14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it (or the last item, if it arrives in several parts).
- To cancel, email us at hello@ventureonline.co with your order number. You don’t need to give a reason.
- Send the items back within 14 days of telling us. We’ll reply with the returns address.
- Unless the item is faulty or not as described, you pay the cost of returning it.
- Please return items unused and in their original packaging where possible. We may reduce your refund if an item has been handled more than you’d need to inspect it in a shop.
This right to cancel doesn’t apply to items made to your specification or clearly personalised, such as custom builds or legends with your own text. Your rights for faulty items still apply to them.
Faulty items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the things you buy must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something isn’t:
- Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund.
- Within 6 months you can ask us to repair or replace it. If that isn’t possible, or doesn’t fix the problem, you can have a refund.
- After 6 months we may ask you to show that the fault was there when it was delivered.
We pay the cost of returning faulty items. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can help, as many problems can be fixed with a quick setup check.
Refunds
We refund to the card you paid with, within 14 days of receiving your return (or proof that you’ve sent it). If you cancel a whole order within the 14 days, we also refund the standard delivery charge you paid.
Buying for a business
If you’re buying as a business rather than as a consumer, the 14-day right to cancel doesn’t apply. We’ll still repair, replace or refund any item that’s faulty when it’s delivered, if you tell us within 30 days.
Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We aren’t responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Your information
We use the details you give us to process, deliver and support your order, and we don’t sell them to anyone. Card payments are handled by Stripe.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
